Masters Team

The Gator Swim Club's Masters program (formerly FAST Masters) is a year-round competitively-oriented swimming program geared toward providing a positive atmosphere for all ages and skill levels, from novice to former collegiate swimmers to tri-athletes to recreational & fitness swimmers.

Due to our fantastic location on the beautiful University of Florida campus, we have a broad range of ages, spanning from 18 year old college freshmen to more "mature" professionals and faculty. The majority of our practices are held in a fantastic 5 lane, 50 metre outdoor pool, located at the Stephen O'Connell Center.

Our Masters program is designed for adults swimmers (18 and up). There is no minimum skill level required…just an interest in the sport and desire to swim. We offer adult swim lessons to those who require it before participation is possible.

All Masters swimmers must register with USMS.

Cost (due on 1st of the month and late by the 15th):
Full time swimmer (3 practices or more per week): $45 (per month)
Student swimmer (all practices) $30 (per month)

The fee for United States Masters Swimming is $43. You need to pay this fee for insurance reasons, even if you have no interest in competing.

When: See Schedule

Parking : Parking is available in the lot next to the pool. During the mornings you should not have a problem parking there because we are out of the pool by 7:00am. The afternoons are tough because you need a parking pass, so walking or biking would be the best way to get to practice.* At night, the parking lot is open to park in. You can also park in the three level parking garage next to the O'Connell center. Be aware that on days that the O'Connell Center has functions such as basketball games, volleyball games, track meets, swim meets, guest speakers and anything else, the parking lots will be closed. Be prepared to park far away and walk to the pool. Parking pass can be obtained at the intersection of North-South Dr. and Stadium.
